I was just contacted by a prospective employer for an interview. She suggested we meet at a local (fairly pricey) Italian restaurant for lunch this Friday. Is it safe to assume that she will pick up the tab? Knowing that I am under-employed, is it fair for her to expect me to pay for my meal in a restaurant of her choice? How do I handle this and what will it say about me as a candidate? I know not to have a cocktail, but other than that, any suggestions on what I should or should not order?

He is accused of a $12 million tax fraud and failing to file several years returns. Should the courts really send a message to other high profile tax protesters by sending him away for 15 years. Or should they let him off if he pays his taxes?

I'm looking for a work from home position right now. & came across the Online Business System, it sounds really good but it doesn't say exactly what I would be doing except having my own business from home, there is a $39.95 + $9.95 S&H charge for a decision package with over 2 hours of deciding information to see if this is right for you & there is a 90 day money back gaurantee w/ it, I'm thinking about doing it but was wondering if anyone had ever heard about it or have gotton the package or have actually done it & were you successful? or not? Desperate for a work at home job making good money.

They are conducting an audit of its health plan participants. They are requesting a ridiculous amount of information just to prove our eligibility to KEEP benefits that we have been eligible for (and received) since 1999. It is a complete invasion of our privacy. They are requesting our 2005 tax return, birth certificates of our children and our drivers licenses. They have us going through an 11-PAGE ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST. Failure to comply with their request results in cancellation of our health benefits.

I want to notify the public of AT&T's practices. They need to receive the message loud and clear that they are overstepping their boundaries.

How can I do this?

I recently recieved a settlement not a large one around 30 grand and I have been abusing my brain trying to figure out a money making proposition. I have a lot of spare time and help to put towards something good. I have a lot of skills in the automotive field just for the record, but I am looking for some ideas before I even touch my money. I am not worried about hard work or time that has to be invested. If anyone has ANY GOOD ideas please let me know I would appreciate it greatly!

Buyers, if you are buying a home, do you prefer to see picture nails/hooks on the wall, or is it better to take 'em out and leave just a nail hole?

Sellers, which way are you going on this?

My husband and I both work full time. We have 2 children. Currently, both of us claim 0 dependents. I thought I read somewhere that the person who makes the largest salary should claim the least amount of dependents possible, and the one with the lowest should claim as many as possible. If I do that, it will cover the cost of my family's insurance. Should we still be covered tax wise? I don't want to owe taxes when it's all said and done.
