We want a house because of a new baby coming. Our rent is $580 a month for 500 or so square feet, is that a bad deal? How can we break the lease. The lease says if we do we must pay 200 plus the 580 until it is rented out. Would it be more worth it to get a house?

Hi! I just had quite an interview with three people (all already hired) and they barely let me put in a word edgewise...What I'm curious about is are there any key words or phrases that may indicate "how you did?"

Thanks = )

Started business in June and haven't made estimated tax payments, didn't realize what I needed to do. What do I do now? I have made an average of 3.5k per month with lots of expenses. Will I have to pay a lot? What are the penalties?

Right i am in the process of buying my second house, i have been with my fiancee for 3 years. Now this house is coming from my wages and savingsand the house we are selling has all been out of my pocket apart from 3k max over the 2 years we lived there. My girlfriend wants to be on the deeds of the new house but i am afraid of being ripped off, its happened before to me you see, i have said i will add her when we get married but she wants to be on them when we exchange contracts, is there anything i can do to put her on the deeds but make it so she isnt entitled to half as she wont be contributing financially, i wouldnt mind if it was only 100k or so but its a £350K house so i have a lot to lose.

Today I went to my UK high st building society to ask for copy of my account statements for last 6 months.... I was told that "duplicate statements" would cost me £5.00 per monthly statement. Does this infringe my data protection right - I think I should have free access to information relating to my account. Please help!

I was just thinking the other day, and became concerned. I am going to school right now for psychoogy. I want to eventually get a PhD in it. However, right now I am having trouble finding a job after being laid off, and have not been able to pay any of my bills for a few months. I have also had a few jobs this summer, about 3 that Ive filled out papers with, and didnt work out bc of school scheduling, will all of this affect my chances of getting a good job once I graduate with my Masters and then my PhD> Will someone do a background check on me and not hire me bc of this record?

Ok things haven't been going well at work at all. I keep getting the shaft when I try to strive for more opportunities like a promotion or a raise or even things like acknowledgement and credibility. My review was this week (on Monday) and got a small inflation raise. I tried to negotiate for more (throughout Tue & Wed) and ended up getting burned by my boss again. My boss hired back this guy that I took the place of three years ago and right away made him Assistant Manager (which is what I have been striving for or similar to). So today is Thursday and I gave my boss a request form for a day off for tomorrow. He approved but I think he's been trying to get me to leave. The middle of this week I applied to 2 other places (job listing posted hire wages and a for more respected position) and heard back right away. I took tomorrow off because I have these two interviews. If I get one of these jobs should I ask my employor to match inorder to keep me or just give two week notice?

I've just seen a question and it's given me a great slogan for a product that people either love or hate. 'Pa don't but Marmite!' Will they pay for that one?
