On Yahoo Finance, click on a chart of the Dow or on the highlighted DJIA link.

On the left side, click on Components. That will bring up a list of the 30 Dow stocks.

It is a list of 30 stocks of very large companies that are supposed to be "representative" of the economy as a whole. It isn't. It's far too narrow a gauge, and the editors of the Wall Street Journal, who own the name and choose the stocks that are part of the index, are likely to drop boring but successful companies in favor of the fad company of the moment. Ignore the Dow. The S&P 500 is a better gauge, particularly in conjunction with the Russell Indices (1000, 2000, and 3000) and the Wilshire 5000. Lots of other indices exist for niche uses.

Try prophet.net to sort some of these for yourself. You can create a (free) watchlist called DOW. Then, use the bulk add feature to load in the DJ30. Once they're in there, you can sort a whole bunch of ways.

Let me know if you have other questions.
