I was just thinking the other day, and became concerned. I am going to school right now for psychoogy. I want to eventually get a PhD in it. However, right now I am having trouble finding a job after being laid off, and have not been able to pay any of my bills for a few months. I have also had a few jobs this summer, about 3 that Ive filled out papers with, and didnt work out bc of school scheduling, will all of this affect my chances of getting a good job once I graduate with my Masters and then my PhD> Will someone do a background check on me and not hire me bc of this record?

If you are working to a Goal, Stick to it!. Take any job that pays the bills! I gone thru it. Ironic I also took Psycology courses for communications, But I learned a lot about people in general. No Matter what Job you take while you are in your trek, Use it as a stepping stone to your destination, observe the thinga that are related to your field!! You will not regret it......Good luck. by the way check hospitals and vollunteers locations they can eventually lead to Jobs, and advancements. Paitience is key!
