Ok,
Me and my friend are 12. We would like to make some more money. We already both get allowance and we are both homeschooled. We know each other from church. Now we were thinking about starting babysitting. We were thinking it would be e-zier with both of us there. Can you give me some rate ideas? And will anybody hire a male?

Give all the advice you want.

Having insomnia I found the Lunesta commercials cruel. They are typically played in the evening when people are trying to wind down. They were longer than most ads. The ads remind you of all the things that can keep you up at night and how crappy you feel in the morning. A person with insomnia who is trying to relax doesn't need to be reminded of all that. I got to the point where I just muted the TV when the ads came on and left the room so I would see that stupid green butterfly. I told my doctor I was doing this and he agreed. I've noticed recently Lunesta has changed their ads somewhat. I still mute them.

My question:
Do you think it was a bad idea to alow pharmaceutical to be advertised on TV? Afterall it's not just a toy. It's something that directly affects health and study after study has been done showing the brainwashing effect many TV ads have.

Also, when categorizing this question, why do I have to choose search engine options under advertising& mkting?

Rx only sleep aid Rozerem is really a naturally occuring hormone available at health food stores called melatonin. It has been slightly tweaked chemically so it can be patented & sold for far more as an Rx.
The Rozerem site says it's 3-5x better at regulating sleep than melatonin. What they don't say is it's recommented dose is 8mg. Melatonin is usually sold in 2-3 mg doses. So Rozerem with 3-4x more chemical floating around in your system is going to have a better chance at hitting those receptors in the brain.
My doctor told me this and acted as if it's no big deal. This is just one example of what I am talking about.

The Rx companies have this country by the throat & are trying to force their way into the natural suppliment realm via the back door.

My question(s):
Does this tick you off at all?
Any ideas of what can be done other than just complain about the high cost of health care?
Should Rx companies have to state the origin of their drug on TV commercials?

I've worked in the same restaurant as a hostess for about a year and a half now. In the beginning, I loved it. I still liked it after a while of being there, but lately, I absolutely hate it. I get along well with most of my coworkers, but there are 3 or 4 of them who will start huge fights with me and scream in my face. The restaurant is family owned, so all of the managers are brothers and sister, and the sister's best friend. They will constantly fight with each other and then take it out on the employees. All of them are totally miserable and the one who's there most often plays favorites big time. No one else knows how to do their job so I'm always stuck doing everything. No one appreciates anything though. Since I'm in the front, I'm the one who gets screamed at by the customers. I'm tired of it.

I have three months left before I go to college. I don't know if I should just stay for the rest of the year until I leave, or if I should quit now and find a new job for a few months.

My credit rating has a few black marks on it...:(

I've had good credit all my life but since moving to Thailand, some bills I didn't know I had went to collections.

My credit card is already maxed out and I need more credit.

However, I'm afraid that if I ask for a limit increase they might see the black mark on my record and cancel the card...

That would leave me stranded with no credit card, and a debt to pay off also..

Any suggestions or opinions on this?

The credit card company did offer me a credit limit both on the phone and on the website.

Could it be that they are already aware of that small mark but turn a blind eye to it since I have been a customer since 1994 and never missed a payment?

Could it be that they are enjoying the $170 a month interest?

I have an unusually high electrical bill for September, a month in which I was cautious in the appliances, fans, etc, that were running for the entire month. Yet still the electical bill is incorrectly high.
I called, and they meter will be reread, but all the same, if I wanted to pursue this further, is there another agency that oversees the operations of utility companies, in the possibility that the meter was misread and the matter won't be resolved by the electic company?

Thanks.

We charge a lot, and pay all our monthly bills, on a single credit card and pay the balance in full each month. In a year, we charge between $100,000 and $120,000. What are the best loyalty programs or points programs out there for someone like me us with this spending level?
