Are they just going to leave it there as a big deep hole in the ground - or are they actually going to do something with it ?

It is unlike the ''lets do it'' race to procastinate and leave something undone for so long!

Why don't they just make the damn place into a nice park - maybe just for a change a different shape from a bloody square or rectangle ?

Let some of the water in from Hudson river and make a boating lake or something - and as big an adventure playground as the site will allow ?

If there's no building to blow up - it can't be blown up can it ?

Oh silly me ! Three school shootings in a week - what am I thinking - someone will come in and shoot the kids won't they ?

After all having a gun is part of their constitution isn't it ?

Ahhhhh! I think I've cracked it - that's the reason why they talk
about straw when they greet each other isn't ?

One DUDE to another HEY !
HEY BACK AT YER!

They use this word as a greeting - just to make sure neither side's got a gun!

I currently own a condo, which I just purchased last November. My fiance has never owned a home before. We want to purchase a home together now, before we are married. I am going to sell my condo. I am wondering if we will be eligible for first time home buyer's offers since it is my fiance's first time, even though it is not my first time. Any advice/information is appreciated.

I am a 37 year old single female. I have a 401K plan with my employer that I invest 15% of my salary, I also have an IRA. Should I decrease the amount I put into my 401K to just equal what my employer matches and invest in a Roth IRA? Any advice would be appreciated.

When an employer wants to speak with you about 'compensation' does that mean they want to give you a raise or does that mean they want to reimburse you for back pay?

Not literally, but you know...

He's too big for his britches in the position that he's in and yet, he's not emotionally mature enough for it. I didn't have a problem with my workplace until he came aboard.

I'm doing internship in a big international company and my boss will make decision to hire me or not.. I'm doing well and he's a fantastic boss who supports me all the time. He's also young and single. we hardly talk personal things but a while ago we went on a business trip and had a lot of fun together.. everyday we went out for nice dinner and had a lot of talks and laughs. he's not my type of guy but I was falling for him but never expressed it. Then i asked him what kind of girls he liked and the type he described was totally the opposite of me.. so i felt bad and guilty and told him that i had a bf (which is true..). he was a bit surprised but didn't seem to care...but suddenly he started talking about hot waitresses etc. i was disappointed with him and regretted my feeling. but I felt that we became great friends and he would offer me job for sure. after we came back, he suddenly became cold and indifferent to me and i'm afraid if it'll affect his decision to offere me a job..

Is it better to buy a house rather than an apartment even if you are not sure if you will stay in the area for more than two years? I was thinking that it is better to buy a house because even if you make the monthly payments on the mortage, you will still get that money back when you sell the house when you move away to some place else. Is this correct?

I work for an advertising company. My title is a clerk. I have received a certification in Computer Applications at Detroit Business Institute where I spent a 12 months studying and $8,000. I do a number of different things as a clerk. I deliver tons of mail all over the office, I fill in for the receptionists at our three buildings, I fill in for the administrative assistant, I am cross trained for the phone center, I also have many administrative duties of my own. I have worked at this particular company for ten months. I applied for an administrative assistant position within this company. The recruiter said that this postion is to senior for me. Everyone seems to think I just deliver mail. I feel like they are not taking me seriously because I am a clerk. Maybe they don't want to hire me for this postion because I don't have a degree. I know I am more than qualified for this position and I was very offended. What do you think about this?

I am almost certain I got a job I interviewed for last week, if so, my issue is a co-worker of mine just gave her 2 week notice this past Friday and today they called her and told her don't worry about finishing the next 2 weeks! My current employer is very small and once you violate that since of trust and loyalty they are so upset they don't even want to see you for the next two weeks... it's like. Go now... good luck to you...

Should I waste my time giving notice, or just leave and avoid the drama? Plus they're going to be even more upset since as of today we're short one person! I'll make two! Yikes!
