For anyone who has done this program - do his baby steps allow for a small spending allowance? Like for vacations, travel, eating out once in a while? Or is it only a "save save save" type of program?

I ask because I know for us (and probably many others) it's completely unrealistic for us to never eat out or go to a movie, etc. I don't want to start a program that we are destined to fail. Thanks!

If we join the "program" on his website, it's $90 for a whole year.

BUT I can buy the book and workbook online for less than $30 combined total.

Do we really need to do the whole program or are the books good enough?

It s alarming the number of young adults who file for bankruptcy.Because it looks like the easiest way around, personally I think people take the system for granted. Wouldnt it be the best idea to take responsibility , work hard and pay the debts off? What are your ideas?

I was past due on my capital one credit card although I was paying what I can each month. The total was 1800.00. i agreed to pay $305.00 a month BUT I never had a written agreement. I have $416.00 left to pay. This past month i couldn't pay the whole thing. I agreed to pay $150.00 after she told me they were going take me to court I said I would pay the whole amount off in Oct and she said they would still take me to court if I didn't pay the $150.00 in Sept. She kept asking me where is my money going-what am I doing with it-what bills am I paying off.
first off, Would they really take me to court over $416.00 THAT I said I WOULD pay in Oct-even offered to post date a check. also I have not received anything in 3 months saying i paid, she said they were mailing them but I said I didn't receive them. What are my rights in all this? what can I do? can she ask me those questions?
Hope this makes sense...thanks.

I have all of my ideas written down, ready to be put into action. I have all of my refrences listed, my prices, even my goals to be in a competitive market. Now i need funding, for advertising, and hiring employees. ...I have been checking arounds for government grants. I keep getting scammers. I know that you are not supposed to have to pay for info of this sort. Where do i go? I also have yet to get a tax identification number. I do need that as well. I know that i have a great plan, i just need to be pointed in the right direction. I would like to have my place up and going with 2-4 employees, by this time next year.

1. Who do i contact to get the forms for government grants? ( a true legit place)
2. How do i get my tax indentification number?
3. What can i do to help my application be more appealing?
4. What is the quickest way to go about getting this done.
5. How long does this process normally take?

I am doing a temp contract at a big name institution through a legitimate private company. I am told that I'll do a form 1099 when I complete the contract.

What is perpelxing me is that this private company is not witholding taxes from my paycheck. Once they witheld, but they soon made the adjustment and paid me back by deposting the amount witheld into my bank.

Anyone know what's the prudent thing to do? I am pretty certain they will have to report my income to IRS in early 2007 based on my experience in the workforce.

Where can I get a real $3,000 personal loan with bad credit. I completed a bankruptcy due to divorce a while back. Since then I've been able to get a new car and apartment, but I can't seem to get a personal loan. I have no problems paying the loan and my new income more than qualifies for this type of loan. I've applied a a few places and was turned down. I'm tired of checking out places online that promise and personal loan that turns out to be a payday type loan. I want to seriously know if there is a place in California or on the internet that will give someone like me a real personal loan. There has to be some place the give this type of loan to people with my credit background. Please don' t tell me not to get a loan and all that other nonsense, I have no problem paying this loan back with in 4 months time and the only reason I went bankrupt is because of a x-husband who refused to pay his half of our bills since I left his cheating butt. Loan to take care of a serious situation.

I'm 25 yrs. old and am interesting in a buying some stock for savings purposes.

My questions are:

1. What exactly do I lose if the stock fails?

2. How long does it take for a stock to grow say from 500 to 1000 dollars? Does it depend on the individual stock?

3. Where is a good place to start investing? (Both online and offline).

Thanks very much for all your help as it's much appreciated!

How much credit card company charge for each transaction? Since credit card company gives reward credit for using their cards, in situations I can use either case or check, should I opt for credit cards because they offer reward points? Or it does no matter? Thank you for suggestions?
