When Canadians living in Lebanon were rescued by Canada, the Canadian taxpayers paid the whole shot. Now these same Lebanese Canadians have gone back to Lebanon. They do not pay taxes in Canada. Is this fair?

I have a successful series of DVDs that I sell on my site and on Amazon. However, I'm wondering how I get them into retail outlets, like FYE, Tower Records, Coconuts, Suncoast, etc..
How can a small company of 1 employee, myself, with no advertising budget, get my hit DVDs into real retail? Thanks.

I had a previous question of APRs on credit cards where the answer-er said, "the APR assumes you pay the full balance in one 'billing cycle'". Now I ask, then does that mean that if the APR ASSUMES you should/will pay in one 'billing cycle' that they can rightfully charge more (i.e. alter the original APR, and/or add an additional fee) even if I pay on time? Please help!

Our tenant pays the rent every month (thois has been going on for 5 months) after the 20th of the month (lease says rent is due by 5th). So the property manager sets up an eviction hearing court date and the tenant sends the rent days before the hearing date.

The tenat paid one court fee (as she incurs the $150 court fee to file the suit and the court always judges in our favor). Today was yet another court date and the property manager called to tell me the court again ruled in our favor, but yet the check arrived in the mail. She also said the tenant never paid 3 court fees.

Are we responsible for these court fees if the tenant does not pay them?? I know, I need to review the contract with the prop manager, but how does this typically work?

Also, should we not cash the rent check and just take the court decision and move forward with an eviction? The property manager did all of the applications / interviews -- can I trust them to find a good tenant this time?? THANKS

I don't know much about cd's except that they earn better interest than savings accounts. My 13 year old daughter received a settlement for a dog bite that she suffered.
It is court ordered that it be placed into a trust or account of some sort that cannot be touched by anyone. She gets it when she turns 18.
Right now it is in a savings account but I want to change it to a cd so she can earn better interest. Someone told me that as her parents, we would have to pay taxes on the interest. That makes no sense since we do not benefit from this money. Do we have to pay it or does she have to pay it later?

Okay you all know about my bad back and need to find quality work around this fact. I thought up an idea for a home based business that I want to run by you. I am a great cook and foodtv addict, I know my way around the kitchen. I would like to apply these talents to being a personal cook, live out and deliver the meals at dinnertime and also offer freeze and heat meals. I could also make food for entertaining as well. Would you pay a little extra cash for someone else to cook you great food, do all the shopping, dishes etc. while providing your family with the quality of a homecooked meal instead of the fast food run on the way home from work. Let me know what you think. I plan to start with a questionairre to find out the family's likes and dislikes, allergies and that sort of thing. This way I can go lay down in bed every 20 minutes to ease my back and I can do something I love and that I feel would help today's busy family. Feedback please.

I only had 1000 characters to work with in part 1 of this question. Here is part 2: My woman boss discriminates against men. She is a lesbian who only wants to work with women. I have no problem with her sexual preferences, but she has a problem with men. She has fired each and every one who ever worked for her. Her significant other was raped by a man, she doesn't get along with her dad, she fires all the men. There's something wrong here. She also lied at the unemployent hearing, but I called her bluff on it. So now do you think there is grounds for a lawsuit?

If so, what questions did they ask, and how did you respond? Ajilon Finance is a job shopping company.

Thanks
