I am a single mom and I live in a small town. I can not move more then 70 miles from my curret address because of my exhusband (custody issues). So in an attempt to create a job for myself I opened my own salon. I have done very well building a clientele but my over head is too high and I have been unable to find quality reliable help to staff my business. Without the added revenue another cosmetologist could bring in I am barely braking even. My financial situation is becoming desparte without stable income. What should I do? Close my business and get a job elsewhere, (commute) or try and stick it out?

I live in missouri. I am planing on starting a small ebay. do i need a Business Licence or Tax ID or anything? Also if it all goes well I am going to open a website. I just got my check a little bit ago and can't talk to anyone at work about it untill in the morning...... Like the title said I received zero notice from anyone at my work or from a court or even anything in the mail. I only found out when I got my paycheck today......This is not how it's supposed to work is it? I've lived in the same place for over 2 years with the same phone number so i'm very easy to find if anyone needed to contact me!

Aside from the obvious of contacting my employer in the morning what else can I do? I am the only income and 25% of my check is a huge loss. I assume my employer can tell me the details of what it's for......?

I rented an apartment and broke a lease, now after not quite 90 days the landlord wants the fee for breaking the lease and a ton of money for damages I can't prove I did not do.

I quit a job that i was working for a couple weeks ago, i got very sick and called out 1 day and they were very rude to me, they were just very rude people and i was not even paid minimum wage for a full time job. I went in one day and picked up a paycheck and never showed up again. I know thats rude but they deserved it. Anyway I need money and I have another paycheck to pick up, since they wont mail it cause you have to sign for it I have to see a supervisor. Im nervous about if they will say anything to me. I have been living abroad since graduating from University and have deffered payments of my loans each year as the money I earn here is not worth much in US dollars. Now I can not use defferments and the student loan payments will be a severe blow in my budget, I know that it is my obligation to pay regardless but would like information and advice on the repurcussions to aid my thought process before making a final descion.

If anyone out there needs help around the house or thing kids you can call on me because i am a good person love kids and will do anything to help anyone i can. I am a very good cook. love to clean house and i also can help your kids with school work. I was a good student but droped out because i was going to have a baby and now i need the money to help care for my one year old son. I want to have a job that can work around me and my son and i belive that doing things for people around there house. You have to live in and around north east marland for me to do the work for you because i live in north east. Please help me help you do work around the house. I would do almost anything to help you around the house as long as you pay or if you have anything around the house that a one year old little boy can use i will take it and a little money. I got hired by an accounting firm. I was supposed to start work in July. I asked for an extension so that I could study for the CPA exam. The firm gave me the time off I requested. Now, I start in October, and I realize that I still NEED more time to study...I am afraid to ask for another extension of time off because they might get tired and fire me, even before I start. They were already very generous with giving me the extension of time off. Studying for the CPA exam will be harder with my work obligation on top of that...It is very time consuming...I want to start work with a clear mind thinking I passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam before I start....any suggestions for me?

We are looking for information on how to get employment cleaning forclosed properties...We have been advised that real estate companies often hire persons to clean for them, and to haul off everything that was left behind when people either leave in the night or have to vacate the property for some reason. We have experiance, references, and a large box van to work with. Is there some official name for this position ( other than cleaning, of course ) ??? We live in mid-north Indiana, and would appreciate any information we can get from anyone who has either provided this service, or who hires people for these type positions. Thanks !

My husband and I live in a very small town in the midwest. There is virtually no industry in the small town we live in, but there is a town square. We've decided to open a resale shop where we plan to sell used name brand clothing, furniture, home decor, music (cds, tapes, records) and other small items. We're trying to come up with a name for the store and were hoping to get some suggestions. I am an American English teacher in S. Korea.I was told by a tax consultant in the U.S. that I didnt have to file a return in the US if I didnt have any employment there or have any w-2 forms to report and didnt make over 80K a year.I pay the Koran taxes here.Does anyone have a definitive answer?

You forgot Netto. Wilkinsons is a great shop. We call it the twenty pound shop, because whenever we go in for one thing, we always end up spending £20 on rubbish.
