*If a job asks you on the application if you're willing to submit to a drug test, does that neccessarily mean they're going to give you one?* I don't understand why these low quality jobs are asking for so much when they have poor management and horrible pay anyway.. but due to the fact I recently enrolled in college and I'm struggling I'm in desperate need of one. Granted - I am a user but that doesn't mean I am a human being of low quality and it's also irrelevant to the question. One more question - do you think that these dead end jobs are asking for too much? I honestly do.

As I said in other post I was working there for 4yrs and up until April I wasn't a CNA.. I was hired without certificate because I was certified at one time.. After 3 yrs I was told to get re-certified to keep my job so I spent the $700+ and took the training and passed all testing and got legally certified as a CNA in April 2006...was fired in Sept 2006. Now because I was fired does this get noted @ nurse aide registry or is it just like being fired any place else...stealing medications or physically abusing someone would cause an investigation through the state and a judgement to be made. Seperation reasons were listed as :failure to work as team player failure to finish work failure to treat residents w/respect,dignity & safely. None of these accusations are true...I can give potential new jobs resident and co-workers as references from job I was fired from which I plan to do. How hard will it be to get new job? Can I just check don't contact & tell them to contact residents&staff?

Everytime I have interviews, my mustache area begins to sweat, i shave my mustache but I always sweat in that region during interviews. Any recommendations? Is it ok to take a napkin and wipe it during the interview...while i'm speaking? Thanks! =)

Ok I've been told the store requested it twice..that it's typically 3 1/2 weeks to come in.. but now we're going on four and a half weeks. Could it be because their companies other store requested a background check so this background check company are not wanting to send it to my store i'm pretty much hired for(just waiting on the background check).

I applied for similar positions at various organizations. One of them offered me a job which I accepted. I have been with them for just over a week and now one of the other companies wants to interview me. Is it rude or or in poor taste to ask for leave to go on this interview, and if accepted at the other organization is it unprofessional to resign while still in training?

we are just starting in the manufacturing of manicure, pedicure instruments and beauty care scissors and items used in saloons. the collection agency is threatening to garnish my wages for a 900 bill. the thing is that im a waitress (in college) and my checks are usually zero. so how can they garnish it? unless the govt gives me another tax right? and if they can how are they goin to do it? and why are all collection agency representatives assholes? is that requirement for the job?

many warnings over 4yrs..some were unfair & 4 same things others did but they got no warnings.Example: I said "son of a *****" @4am in laundry room when basket fell on my foot (4am peeps r asleep) but boss found out from co-worker & I got a warning & suspended (due to 4yrs of warnings) but 2 wks later the boss infront of me & co-worker said "f-word" twice during report...after 2nd time @11pm I mentioned it & she said "everyone's asleep".Another was cuz I didn't put laundry away yet others don't &they get no warnings. Why only me? I was suspended in May...came back& got my 3% raise & had no trouble for 4mths... off 6days then got fired over annonymous letter.. no investigation. Funny thing is... within 2wks of being fired (1)my name was scratched off b-day list & again for 2nd time after list replaced (2) cousin's job app. disappeared then the letter arrived. Anyone could've wrote it to start trouble & it worked/got fired. If I was that bad why keep me 4yrs? Think I can collect or not?

I'm at my first real job, and now am applying to be a supervisor in the same department, and on my application I need three professional references. Since this is my first job, the only professional references I have would be some of the same people that would be hiring me for the new job. Should I just put down their names? Can I put more than one of their names, since I have several supervisors in the same department? Or should I put "personal" references, as in people that know me but I have not actually worked for? I have a Capital One Platinum card and I would like my credit limit increased. I have tried to get it done automatically over the phone and through a customer service representative, but they tell me I am not eligible for an increase by request. They say that they occasionally do credit account reviews if all is well and then give them. Well my history with them is pristine, payments sent early and usually double the minimum. Does anyone out there know when those "occasional" reviews are? Thanks!
