Ok I've been told the store requested it twice..that it's typically 3 1/2 weeks to come in.. but now we're going on four and a half weeks. Could it be because their companies other store requested a background check so this background check company are not wanting to send it to my store i'm pretty much hired for(just waiting on the background check).

Patience is your friend with background checks. Depending on the time of year and amount of business your checkers have, it can actually take months for a background check to come in. For example, two Julys ago I applied for a job and the background check came nearly 5 months later, in December.

MAYBE they are not planning to hire you and are just saying that they are waiting for the background check. I suggest you keep looking while you wait..

It will come don,t give up and don,t listen that your not hire they don,t know that
