Your degree gives you a good basis for working in any business that sells products designed and manufactured by engineers, even if you don't work as an engineer. For example IBM, BOEING, FORD, SUN MICROSYSTEMS, DELL, HP, etc. You can work in administration, management, sales, tech support, etc. in these types of companies. They will be interested in you because of your engineering background even though you may not be working as an engineer. For example if you are a sales person in a computer company and you have an engineering background you will likely understand and be able to explain the product better as an engineer... I am an Electrical Engineer and worked for IBM for almost 14 years in Management and Support .. I never did work as an engineer for them, but my background helped a lot!!

Hope that helps..
