Everytime I have interviews, my mustache area begins to sweat, i shave my mustache but I always sweat in that region during interviews. Any recommendations? Is it ok to take a napkin and wipe it during the interview...while i'm speaking? Thanks! =)

I interview people often and being nervous is normal. Telling them you are nervous will actually help to make an empathetic connection with the interviewer. Breath slowly in through your nose and out your mouth. Relax your head and shoulders. Think of the people you love and how much more important they are than the situation you are in. Think of the funniest person you know, and what they would think of the situation. All situations come and go, you've worked hard to get where you are and the person doing the interview has been through the same types of situations. Just tell them your nervous and get on with it. If you have to wipe your lip just smile and they will understand.

I would not take any mood changing drugs though, but Arnold gave me an idea. Clear anti-perspirants use salts to block sweat. If you can find one that is not detectable maybe it could work? You have to put them on as far in advance of the interview as possible though they need a lot of time to work well. Try it on the weekend first though, you don't want any surprises right? Good luck you'll do fine and look back on this and laugh.

Instead of finding a way to wipe the sweat, why not find a way to make it stop? Go to a Health Food store, and look for Rescue Remedy. You place a few drops under your tongue. It's a relaxer. If it works for you, maybe it'll calm you down to the point that you won't sweat. If that fails, I think your idea of gently wiping your lip with a handkerchief, is appropriate.
