When I came 2 years ago, most people had been here for over 5 years. One by one they started to leave. The first one was a very hard-working talented woman who left 'coz she never got a raise, she was replaced by someone who still sucks at the job and gets paid more. In 2 years, the office of people with 5 years here were gone, all them left because they never got a raise, yet all of them were replaced by someone who got paid more and sucked at the job. I quit on Monday, I'm way too overqualified to make the money I make. I know who I'm getting replaced with, I interviewed that person months ago, and he was way underqualified to work here. Just as I imagined, they offered him more money than what I was making.

Why is my boss so stupid, rather than give qualified people a raise, he rathers hiring underqualified people and pay them more than they people he didn't want to give a raise to. My department is in a lot of trouble because of the new people not cutting it.

I'm looking for a job, There aren't to many around where I live. I put an application into Fashion Bug 2 weeks ago, they said they would be hiring soon, I haven't heard anything yet, should I call? Since I still interested? I do want a receptionist/secretary job. Should I call places to see if they are hiring? I've looked in the paper and almost everything is a long drive. Just want some input Thanks!

my question is: in the city of Newark, NJ where do i go to report negligence on the part of my landlord? i have been without hot water for over 5 days now, my basement is flooded with water, and there isn't even any electricity in the entire building!who do i report this to?my landlord lives out of town & he can't come into town to do something about the problems that we as tenants have to face on a daily basis, but has the audacity to forward his new post office box address to us so that we can send him his rent on time! is it legal for me to refrain from paying him his rent until he decides to take action and at the very least provide us with the basic survival essential such as hot water? please, someone out there with knowledge of landlord/tenant laws respond soon...help!!

I need to find price of some muni and treasury bonds as of a specific day in this year (on secondary market). Also i would like to know the high/low price of of those bonds on that day. Or is there only one price for a day? I guess there can be differnt transaction prices but I might be wrong.

Anyway, my biggest question is where I can find those prices. Yahoo finance only gives prices for stocks/mutual funds.
