i need to borough £25.000 for an existing franchise which is doing ok, i m buying somebody out. Ive already put £10.000 in as a deposit but need the rest by oct 1st, low apr,low repayments etc

From most high street banks that offer business banking - HSBC, HBOS, Barclays, etc. Most will want some form of collateral. The fact that you've put up close to half is a good thing and the fact that it's an existing business doing well is also a good thing.

I was rather obvious when setting up my business, and went to the bank for a loan (Natwest). Or, you could brave the Dragon's Den?!

A bank. I don't know what banks you have where you are, but there are plenty good loaning banks up here. You should definately do to a bank.

Contact the small buisness assn. in your state. They have all the details of wat you will need to know. Also, They can help with the finance of the buisness. But, you well have to prove the worth of the buisness.(what the buisness makes yearly) and file papers to verifey the buisness is worth the money. They do investagate..
