I work with childrens books and want to find companies interested in buying them for childrens christmas presents etc. Based in Kent. (UK)

1. The phone book is at your disposal.

2. Select the professions you would like as clients. I, personally, would select all. You would be surprised at some of the most unlikely people you could imagine to be interested.

3. Make a mailing list, and notify by post card, or brochure.

4. Keep it brief and to the point. Most business people get impatient if they have to read pages, or fill in a bunch of blanks.

5. If you like, you can follow cards up with calls & let them know you will send someone around with books to choose from, if there is an interest.
