I need to find price of some muni and treasury bonds as of a specific day in this year (on secondary market). Also i would like to know the high/low price of of those bonds on that day. Or is there only one price for a day? I guess there can be differnt transaction prices but I might be wrong.

Anyway, my biggest question is where I can find those prices. Yahoo finance only gives prices for stocks/mutual funds.

Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for just a few day's prices I'd go to the library and look at the Wall Street Journal on microfilm.

Bond prices are traded over the counter, and are not generally made public. You won't be able to find the highs and lows.

You can get bid yields and prices for treasury bonds. You can download them from the St Louis Fed's FRED Database. See the link below.

They are also published in the Wall Street Journal. You might be able to get some indications for municipal or corporate bonds on that date from the following day's WSJ. You should be able to get a copy for that day at your local library.
