My agent is trying to work with their agent to re-imburse me for the time I'm having to spend in a hotel, pay extra in storage costs, and the cost of them being in a home I am paying the mortgage on. The amount they are figuring does not take into account the personal distress and the time I took off work thinking I was going to be able to move in. I feel like I really got the shaft since the seller led me to believe he would be moved out at closing time. This was also suppose to be the first week of school for my boy which he will now miss. I also canceled the cable install which was suppose to be the day after I moved in. The next available cable install date is not for another two weeks which will leave me without my TV and internet for several days after I do move in. Any ideas on a recourse would be appreciated.

Since 1983 every job that I have had my bosses refuses to listen
to me whenever I tells them to buy a computer to make a task a lot
easier. In my last job my boss choose to spend 12 hours doing a
inventory order that I could do in less than 3 hours with a computer
using MS Excel. I have had many bosses tell me you do the work
let me(the boss) do the managing. I have gotten this attitude from
female managers. My motto: If the best is possible, then better is
not good enough

I have been working at the same place for 4.5 years and have learnt alot. Lately i have been dreading coming to work and i get frustrated at my boss because i do the work and all i need is his yes or no on whether to send documents out or if the amount i have charged the client is enough and he is often too busy to get to it. Then he comes back to me about it months later as asks me to do the same thing without even checking the file to see that its done. I appreciate what he has tought me and often i think its not that bad here tho other times i just want to walk out and dont event want to get up in the morning. Is it time to go?

I'm concerned with the state of the housing market and its early signs of a pull-back which could excellerate, having a devistating effect on the economy, forcing many people to cash in on their stocks, just to hold onto their homes, which they have finacially overextended themselves on and have not accounted for any future bumps in the road/increased expenses.

I see my coworker sleeping at her desk almost every day. She'll be sitting there and suddenly the head falls and she's out for 5 to 10 minutes. Should I say something to her? Tell the boss? Or do nothing and wait until the boss inevitably walks in on her while she's sleeping? What would you do?
