You might try Jo-Ann fabrics or even Wal-Mart.

The Wal-Mart here has some really cute flannel for $2.57 a yard, not quite $2.50 but close. They would make some really cute diapers for babies and even crib sheets.

Just watch your sales at the fabric stores. I found some odds & ends pieces at Jo-Ann's one day for $1.00 a yard.

Good luck.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, go to the fabric district in Downtown. Get there early because everyone is hunting for the same exact deal. Good luck!

look on ebay and search "fabric remnants" or "fabric scraps"
You can find SUPER good deals on there

Otherwise, yeah, the fabric at Wal-mart has sales that are crazy $1/yard for most of them.
