I just got a status update report from the credit and collections company that I work with. I reported several people who owe money to my corporation a few months ago. One person is listed as "possible credit abuser."
What does this term mean?
Serious answers please. I would prefer to hear from people either in the business of collections or credit reporting.

Thanks!

The dorms are already full for the spring semester, and I REALLY need to transfer to a four-year to finish the rest of my chemistry degree. This will be my first time on my own! Yea! Please help! Thanks.

This is a semi-hypothetical question. Me and a friend have something that we are working on along the lines of a TV show. Now, we are curious as to what method of copyright we must take? Must we copyright the script, or can we actually copyright the whole show? And if so, how?

My husband a trucker and considerd and independent contractor. They do NOT take taxes and the like out of his paychecks. How do we go about paying the tax? We were told we needed to file paperwork every 3 months and that we should be holding x amount back, but what paperwork we need to file and how much to hold back is a mystery. Do we have to have an accountant or can we just do this ourselves? ANY information would be helpful. Thanks!

And is ther anything I can do to stop it other than continuing to have to counter with increases to my employees compensation?

If sending unwanted faxes is illegal because it uses my resources to make a sale, why isn't Head Hunting illegal when they use time I pay my employees on my phones? I suspect it's perfectly legal but I wish someone would challenge the practice in a class action suit.

Hopefully someone can help me out. I have an old (about 5 years old) credit card debt of $4309.00 which I am trying to settle for $2500. In April the account went to a collection agency who offered to settle for $2200. At that time I was in financial hardship and (divorce, single mom, unemployment, overextended) I did not have the money and could not accept. Now the account has went to a law firm. I called them and asked them to settle - they seem more interested in finding out how much money I make and my job than trying to settle. Of course I got upset and told them I would I would call the credit card company and they said the credit card company would refer me back to them. Shouldn't they (the law firm) be working with me to try and settle this debt? What should I do? I also told them them that I would like my credit reported as "paid" after I gave them the money - they said they had nothing to do with the credit bureau. Help!!!

If you are not in HR, or in a confidential meeting, or working on a extremely tight deadline, how appropriate is it. Opinions count but data or links would be more appreciated. Thanks!

I have a question why I don't smile at work. Everytime I am sitting at the front desk at an office I have a hard time smiling at visitors.
Do you think it's my medication that doesn't make me smile enough at visitors? I am using Zyprexa pills for my symptons cause I see a psychiatrist regarding my symptons.
