I own a townhouse in NJ. My brother lives with me and contributes to half of all expenses associated with the house. If I add his name to the deed (not the mortgage), what property rights is he entitled to? Could I sell the house without his consent? Can he claim the house on his income taxes?

I work in an office that was severely reprimanded for abusing company policy about work schedule. Everyone in the office was guilty, including the manager, and everyone was given a refresher as to policy. One certain employee seems to be back to abusing the schedule again by taking long lunches as well as adjusting her lunch time schedule to fit doctors appointments (I was specifically told I could not do that). But here's the kicker, SHE"S THE MANAGER'S WIFE! So, do I confront the manager with her schedule abuse, or not?

I recently bought but have a prepayment penalty. My job may be changing and I will have to sell. I can close in the garage and finish it for about $1000. The basement will cost more but I need an extra 5K out of the house to break even with the prepayment.

I called out sick on friday and my supervisor said it was fine. That night another supervisor called me and told me that I needed to come to work or I was being insubordinate as she was sure I was going to the party thrown by another coworker because I had sent out an invite to other coworkers (which I did but that was for my other coworker because she would not see them before the party and wanted them to be invited). I then stated I was not coming in I was sick and would have a doctor's note the next day. I came in the next day with the doctor's note. Last night I come into work and the other supervisor tells me that I'm fired for insubordination because more than one person said they saw me at the party including a supervisor but they have no concrete evidence of this just the say so of the supervisor. I am sure that the reason I was fired was not because I called out because I do not make it a habit to call out but because I called HR on the supervisor.

When my mother passed away, my son was of the mind to have me declared incompetent, put me on Medicade and throw me out in the street to 'find a place to live', rent out the house and make himself some extra income. Needless to say, I feel violated and incredibly angry. Then, the second son came over and took the trust with him. Has not brought it back to date. Should I be concerned, or just let it go?

I've applied, sent resumes, and done everything (yes everything). Why am I only getting a small amount of responses. I send resumes and apply to at least 12-15 jobs daily. I'm only applying to jobs I have the knowledge, skill, and experience to do. I've only been out of work for a week but I need to find a job now. I've had my resume looked over and that's not the problem. I just need a good daytime, part time job. Can anyone help me? Serious answers only please. Thank you.

At the end of September our lease ends, and I would like to move into a 1 BR apt for myself so I can be stable with my funds. She on the other hand hasn't found a job yet and b****ed me out because I emailed her and asked her if she had any idea what she would do if she didn't get the job. She doesn't know and the apartment complex I'm at now has only one 1 BR available, and I would like to stay there. I know that renting is a cunning business and they won't hold the place forever while my roommate decides her life. Should I get the place and kind of screw her over or wait and lose out on a place to live?
