I assume you mean for seeing what state your own record is in...
There's a nomimal fee from most credit agencies - typically £2 to cover costs.
As far as these things go, Experian and/or Equifax are the first port of call for most if not all banks and credit agencies.
Funnily enough, a search on yourself shows up on your report too, as do all searches in the past 6 months

What do you want it for? Is it for you? In the UK there a 3 organisations that give credit ratings. Banks etc. might use any or all of them to check you out. The information held by the each agency may also differ.

there are a few ways, if u want a free one you should visit the experian website, you have to sign up for a free 30 day trial and leave your card details but make sure you cancel before the end as it will charge you, or you can get a one off one for £2.00 or you can ring up and order with a card for £2.50 or if you write into them it is £2 with a cheque or postal order.... hope it helps!

of someone else, or of yourself, in which case they cost £2 from the main credit reference agencies in the UK. you have to apply in writing. this only gets you the basic report, they will want to sell you their all singing all dancing version but the basic one is good enough to check the details. mind you that doesnt help much if everything is ok, because they only make them available to the credit companies who make the decisions based on the content, the reports themselves dont tell you what your credit rating is.
