I have only had one long term job that I feel like my supervisor would remember me. Everything else has been little summer jobs or on campus jobs with other students who I did not keep in contact with. Any advice for a newly graduated person?

I am planning to buy a used item on eBay through an antique store. The seller happens to be in California as well (Los Angeles County). Can he charge me sales tax on a used item? This item is not a car or house.

Can you provide references? Or the section of the tax law?

After queueing for half an hour, I finally get to the cashier and state my business. The cashier dosen't know what to do so has to wait until the cashier next to them has finished with their customer so they can ask them what to do, this cashier dosen't know either, so has to wait until the cashier at the other side of the one I first went to has done with their customer to ask them. They don't know, so have to go in the back to ask someone hidden from view. These three then try to decide what to do while my original cashier tries to sell me a loan/mortgage/cheaper home insurance etc. Eventually a fifth person appears and comes to my rescue (banking god??), all I wanted to do was pay money into a business account, not that difficult I would have thought.

What makes it worse is it's the same pantomime at the same branch almost every day.

Anyone who knows what their doing and work for Halifax Bank like to explain??

I know it's not in the right place, I'm just warning people. Don't get all ticked off if it's not a problem for you; but if you've got some spare time, please report him.

If I have 2 possession of cannabis charges that are currently getting expunged from my record (the marijuana was not even mine in both cases, i honestly do not even use drugs, just happened to be unlucky on two separate occasions), but more recently got pulled over for a DUI, which I am 100% sure the charges will be droped after my court date. However, if I decide to get a job in a different state, would all this affect me still?

If a recruiter for a company has received my resume and will be contacting me to discuss my background and work experience, at what point do I discuss my background related past criminal history (does not deal with theft or fraud or assault or anything like that). Should I bring it up when I first talk to the recruiter, or during the first interview?
