In order to write checks, obtain credit/debit cards ect. normally you have to seek another bank in which to hold the money for you. And these banks will initiate you with checks and a card of your choosing. However, say a person had money but doesn't want to place his or her money in another bank but to have his own private bank, and at the same time, his own private checks, depit cards, ect. How does a person do this? To have a bank account only for him or her self?

Salaried people pay taxes but have to bear with pathetic infrastructure. Business people hardly pay any taxes so can't complain. Shouldn't salaried people unite and boycott the taxman by refusing to file returns? After all, they pay fantastic amounts fairly. Why should they go through the cumbersome process of filing returns even if many of them dont have another income?

there must be laws against banks and companies taking people's money through high interest rates, overdraft fees, and other bank fees. Companies are designed to rip people off and the public must do something about this.

I work as a telemarketer for a mortgage company. My main pitch is to offer a 2.25% interest rate and see who is interested. However, this rate is only fixed for 5 years and then the rate rises to whatever rate is out on the market. This is where people start to lose interest. I was wondering if this type of arrangement was worthwhile for the customer or if we are trying to rip them off?

I did a search on resolved questions and found several questions covering this, but no answers really touched any good arguments for keeping it around.
What is the socio-economical reasoning behind keeping it ? Money spent and circulated is good for the economy. Money saved isn't. Money stored in a huge jar at home or in countless vacuum cleaner bags certainly isn't. The most typical answer for the penny-lovers seem to be "What is something costs $1.78 ? You'll end up paying 2 cents more !" Well, it'll clearly even up over time. And imagine all the time society will save not looking for that last penny to pay for the $20.01 tab instead of rounding down.
School books don't have to be replaced right now. Just because we get rid of the penny doesn't mean that the concept of the penny is going away. There will still be 100 cents in a dollar so all the math will still work out.

I just think the U.S. economy would greatly benefit from getting rid of this redundant copper coin.

I'm interested in a 3rd shift Driver position for adults and children with disabilities, and I was curious as to what you have to do on 3rd shift? Ok, so I asked before about my parents housing situation. My parents put down a fairly large good faith deposit while were waiting for the rest of the deposit. Anyway, it was refundable for like 20 days, and right after that we got a copy of the home owners association rules. Well the rules say no pets, and my parents have pets. If they back out now, is there any legal way to get there refund back even though the grace period is over?
