Of course the College would say that they are not responsible. What would you have them say "Please send us a bill for all of your expenses and expected loss of earnings"

If you have a new disability, due to your fall. If you have medical expenses that you need to get reimbursed.... TALK TO AN ATTORNEY.

the college would be responsible if they knew that there was water on the floor and did nothing to either get it up or warn others about it. If someone walking in front of you wasted or poured water on the floor it would then be the responsibility of the individual. At any rate, you should make an accident report to the college.

Who cares? It's ridiculous to try to sue someone because YOU fell. People are too money-hungry anymore. All that does is make you look bad. No one thinks the school looks bad because you fell. You should have been watching where you were going. Is it the road superintendent's fault if you hydroplane when you're driving in the rain? Nope. Get over and move on. You seem to be fine. Worry about something important.

Nope. But I wouldn't sue unless you were hurt too badly. But the college is responsible for notifying people that the floor was wet.

Whatever happened to accountability ? people are far too ready to blame others for any, and everything. are people too dumb to realize that wet floors can be slick ? coffee can be hot ?poisons are not meant to be ingested? etc etc?The courts are clogged with ridiculous lawsuits. I say if they were intentionally trying to harm someone, yeah, bring them to court, otherwise, people need to start taking some responsibility for themselves. can you prove there was no sign ? if not, then you clearly have no case.

Always call a lawyer. Never speak to the people who are responsible, why would they admit fault? Go to the doctor immediately.

When you fell off your bike as a kid and skinned your knee, did your parents sue the city for making the sidewalk so hard?

Sac up, limp away, and watch where you're going next time.

well I think they are responsible if you get hurt in their building. Most of the time places try to say things to get you from filing a lawsuit.

Contact a lawyer and see a physician. You have a case.

Suck it up, buttercup and watch where you are walking. Take some responsibility for your own actions.
