I recieved an automated call that went something to the effect of:
"Please contact Ken Hughes at 888 249 4134. This is not a sales call. Please contact Ken Hughes at 888 249 4134."

It didn't say what the call was about or who he was aside from his name. Seemed sort of like a scam to me. I don't want to call back in case I get charged for something or end up opening my self up to more unwanted telephone calls. But I don't want to not call back if it's important. Has anyone been called by this "Ken Hughes"?

Someone gave me this website address, and when checked for homes in the areas that I am interested in, the prices looked too good to believe. I don't have a lot of info about real estate. Can someone tell me about this particular website, has anyone purchased a house from it? And why are the prices so low? things have not worked out. We are not on speaking terms. Should I just mime my own business or put up with the silent treatment. Everyone else speaks well of him. I currently work as a mortgage broker who specializes in bad credit loans. I have helped many of my clients understand their credit reports and what they can do to improve their credit.

I love this part of my job, am good at it and would like to turn it into a source of income.

I would like to take a credit repair client, obtain their credit reports and explain the information contained in them in detail. I would give recommendations about what they can do to raise their score and a detailed step by step plan of action. For an additional fee, I would dispute incorrect items on their behalf.

I plan to keep my prices low and offer honest, realistic advice specific to the individual's situation and goals.

What certifications or licenses do I need to start a business that does this?

I'm selling my home in New Orleans & going to college. I will probably make a profit of around $40K. When I move I will be paying for all my personal expenses and paying $350 rent. I haven't decided if I want to go for a 4 yr degree or an 8 yr degree, but I do know I can blow $40,000 fast.

What can I do with my earnings to make it grow without it affecting me getting grants or student loans for tuition or annual taxes?



I also do not intend on working during my college career because it will inevitably affect my grades.... that's just how I am & I don't want to let that happen this time.

btw I decided to sell this property because who knows if the next hurricane may blow my house away entirely & I am just not ready or willing to take that risk.
