I have searched jobs online, but many ads seem to be for telemarketers or food service, which don't interest me.

I'm using MSN Money but am having problems. Is there a web-based free portfolio tracker that is superior to MSN Money? I like the MSN Money ability to track multiple metrics but I'm having trouble getting the latest prices to be reflected in my portfolio.

I know you can sell items, but what about property. Its just 20 acres of land, no house. We were really thinking about going through a company to sell it for us, but they want at least 6%. What I would like to do is try to sell it ourselves on the internet, if not ebay, is there another site that I could go to. Has anyone done this before that maybe has worked on the internet with selling property? I really need some tips. Thank you.

my brother was falsely accused of something in his work and in the heat of the moment said that he would resign. I have since told him this was maybe a bit hasty but I am wondering if his employer could hold this resignation as fully binding. He works in education and has currently been suspended on full pay but if he resigns he will forgo his holiday pay over the summer - this is why I think he should not have resigned as maybe they would have offered to pay this in order for him to go quietly rather than causing the fuss of an investigation in to what he allegedly did.

I'm a self-employed contracted specialist. I feel like the success of the project I've been hired to consult on is jeopardized by the IT director. Classic example - he took time off during a critical junction to deal with his car trouble, which prevented me from accomplishing anything (he has to enter the password). None of this would bother me if he didn't ALSO try to use me as his scapegoat for missing his deadline by 10 min., and harangue me verbally. I drove SEVEN hours to put out a fire with only 10 mins. notice, and now I get treated like dirt.

Numerous other problems are the result of their hiring me as a telecommuter, and there has been NO serious effort to actually create the ability to do this job remotely - all the IT department's job. He says that my Comcast digital signal is flat out not-compatible with his company's network. Sure. Even if were true, that could be fixed.

After all this, just tell me - complain to the CFO, or suck it up?

As a Chicagoland mortgage broker, I'm always looking for more business. But, as rates increase, and the public records get hit harder with cold calling (and I don't have any established networking with realitors and builders ...yet) whats the best way to find more business? I would love to charge less in fees, but since those fees put food on my table, I at least need more volume. I know referrals work well too, but I need the business first.

in New hampshire, does a borrower who has defaulted
get to keep the balance (after the defaulted loan and
fees are paid) on a foreclosed property? In other
words, if the balance on the defaulted loan is $50,000
plus $5,000 in fees and at the forclosure auction,
thge property goes for $100,000... does the bank get
$55,000 and the borrower get $45,000?? Or does the
bank get the entire $100,000??? THANKS.
