Someone asked me this today and I do not have any idea.

Is a credit card debt and I need to give the person an answer in like 40 minutes as part of his recovery from bankrupcy, but I do not know if can consolidate after is in collection.

yes a person can consolidate a debt that is in collections, however, the collection agency doesn't have to accept the payment amount unless it meets the collection agencies demands. In other words, if you want to send the collection agency a 20.00 monthly payment, but the collection agency is only willing to accept 40.00 then that is what you would have to pay. 40.00. I work for a collection agency, hope this helps.

Of course, you can consolidate anything you want, but I don't know how easy it would be for someone to get a consolidation loan when they have collectors after them.

Sure. I would think the collection agency would want it paid off. It helps both the consumer and the collector.

sure you can pay that bill but you'd have to get in touch with them to find out what a payout figure would be
