If you can't "follow" you can never lead
Never, never, never, have an employee do something you wouldn't. If you work hard, and are willing to "get dirty" others will respect that and gladly work for you
Hire people that want to work, not people who want to get a paycheck for doing nothing.
Remember always that each employee is a human being, so give respect and you will receive it.
Be careful of others who want your job or wants you out of it, and will do or say things to make you look bad.
Always stand up for your employees, give them credit for what they do, don't hog all the credit for yourself and blame all the bad things on them
AND - Praise in public - Criticize in private (Always)

FIRST OF ALL KNOW YOUR CAPABILITIES. THEN BE CONFIDENT, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND TELL YOURSELF ON A DAILY BASES THAT YOUR SUCCESS IS BASED ON YOU AND HOW MUCH OF YOURSELF AND TIME ARE YOU WILLING TO PUT INTO YOUR SUCCESS. NO ONE OUT THERE IS GOING TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING FOR FREE. ALSO THE ONE THING TO REMEMBER (IN MY OPINION) IS THAT YOUR ARE IN THIS TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR YOURSELF AND LOVED ONES. SOME PEOPLE MIGHT SAY THAT THEY DON'T THINK THIS IS THE RIGHT MOVE FOR YOU. MOST PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO AMBITION OR WILL TO SUCCEED ARE THE ONES TELLING YOU THIS. OR THEY ARE JEALOUS BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE THE WILL TO SUCCEED AND THEY DON'T BUT WISH THEY DID. REMEMBER BEING A BOSS IS NOT EASY ESPECIALLY IF FRIENDS OR FAMILY ARE WORKING FOR YOU OR WITH YOU THEY'RE NOT PAYING YOUR BILLS. ALSO IF GOD BRINGS YOU TO IT HE WILL HELP YOU THROUGH IT.GOOD LUCK HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL

It's not easy. You have to try and keep a positive attitude. Make sure you hire good people. And don't take any crap, but to mean either. People will want to work hard for you if you work hard yourself and treat your employees with respect.

"The Customer Is Always Right"...........that's an old one.
