This is really about conducting business. I want to financially reward any user for doing something productive on my website. However since they are not employed by me, what does it mean to pay them (e.g. accounting issues, etc.). I am not clear about what areas I should be researching into to understand the problem more. Thanks.

I earlier had posted a question about my CPA charging me $450 to do my taxes. Price was not discussed beforehand because a third party was paying for it in the past, so it was not a concern of mine. This past year I got the bill for $450 from the CPA stating that I have to pay it this year because the 3rd party won't. I emailed him back saying $450 was way too much for a single w2 filer, and I offered him $200. He says the $450 stands because he did 5.5 hours of work, and that he "knows more lawyers than I do people". Do you think he would actually take me to court for this amount? If he does, would I wind up spending more defending myself in court? What should I do here? I feel like I'm getting totally ripped off!!

The longest job I have ever held was 2 years and that was my most recent job. In the past, I would leave jobs for stupid reasons, like I didn't like my manager (in hind sight, it wasn't a bad enough situation to just up and quit) or I just didn't want to work, period. My most recent job, I left because I suffer from Anxiety and Depression and I was getting so stressed out at my last job that it was causing migrains and I even tried suicide-all because of stress! I am doing some temp work at the moment to help pay bills but when I go on interviews, I have had the interviewer tell me straight up that he/she feels shaky about hiring someone who seems to change jobs every 18 months to 2 years or he/she is afraid I may relapse with my depression, although I am currently on medication and receiving counseling/therapy on a regular basis.

As to why I left my previous job(s), is there a better way to convince the interviewer that I am ready to settle down and make a career for myself???

I'm inheriting over 16 Million Dollars and personally I'd like to figure a way to invest it so that I can make more money. I'm thinking gold bullion but I'm not sure how much of it I can afford to get without my permanent plans being interupted.

and because the company is moving they asked me to wait for another month (July 3rd). So far the job offer is verbal only and no contract had been signed. We have been communicating via email regarding my start date status. My question and concern is, is this company seriously considering to hire me or are they just delaying the process in hope that I'll give up and quit myself? Has any of you guys have a similar dilemma and how should I handle this? I had stop looking for other jobs since I accepted the offer. The job pays 24,000 month (I know it's very small amount) and the job duty involves business correspondence etc.

they reeled me in with resonnable promises, and a great product, offered me 2 round trip tickets to Pheonix, then talked me into purchasing their biggest advertising campaign for $6500.00 after charging me 1700.00 for the website, which is now shutdown, and their phones have all been disconnected. They offered a full year money back guarantee, that's why I figured I have nothing to loose.
But since they have dissappeared, I'm not getting anything back. Please advise.

I am in management trainee and dealing a lot with recruiting, and leading team. I have some difficulty in dealing with people as they have different in character. How can i improve myself or what skill I should focus in order to attract them to "follow", "like", "motivated", "die" for me ? I have tried to be "strict" type once, and now i change to "soft" type, and still figuring what is the best style especially to attract strong and dedicated sales team.

I hate collections calls. Is it really any skin off these people's teeth if I pay my bill or not? And what's with the rudeness and judgement, they don't know my financial situation. I just think they'd be more apt to get people to pay their bills if they were more understanding and sympathetic. You know what I mean?

I am about to from an inheritance. This is more money than I thought I'd ever see in my lifetime! My life has always been living 'paycheck to paycheck' and sometimes (like today) payday seems so far way!

Do I walk in my bank with the 100K check and say "I need to make a deposit"?

I don't want to be stupid with it and turn around in a few years and think "where did it go?".....
