How can I also get my website on all search engines all at one time? I need to know how much start up money I need for a full online store, tops bottoms dresses shoes accessories and intimates? I have my vendors license I have access to merchandise. I already have the website part set up. I need advertising/marketing and money for the merchandise and get listed on all major search engines. How much will this cost me to start?

You've got a couple questions here; let's tackle them one at a time.

Re: Business Startup Expenses

I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

Re: Advertising/Marketing

As far as search engine placement, I think Imisidro's going to give you the best information out there. If she doesn't post to you, you can see her profile -- she's the #1 Answerer in the Business & Finance section

Here's other marketing ideas:

A few free resources – check out the sources box for links:

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups – Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

I listed a few handy sites & articles relating to marketing, promotion & advertising. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

It really depends: What country will your store be located in? (Stores based out of US will be more expensive, whereas a store out of Hong Kong will be cheaper.) Who will be making the clothes? If they are made in US, they will be more expensive, whereas if they are made in Hong Kong they will be cheaper.) Will the clothing line tailor to midgets? If so, It'll be cheaper. Less material = lower cost. If everything is in the US, expect to need about $100,000. If in Hong Kong, you can probably do it for about a dollar fifty.
