I was just wondering, how much raise did you get after being at your job for a year.....?

Well, I was making 9.50 and after a year they gave me a 50 cent raise, so now im making $10.00.....I think I deserve more than 50 cents

I think it just depends on where you work and what type of company they are b/c I work in Higher Education and after six months I received a 71 cent raise and I am waiting on another raise to be affective in July. I don't know how much it will be.

That is reasonable. I usually receive a 50 cent raise every year

well I'm a bank teller. We are ranked at falls below, meets, exceeds and far exceeds. I exceeded (which is really good, far exceeds is almost impossible) and my raise was a lousy .18 cents. SO that's why I'm looking for a new job. I'm too good of a worker for that!

I think that is rather standard policy... Actually after a year in some places you only get a .25$ raise

It has to be percentage because our salaries are different. For example, if one is making 50k a year and gets a 5% raise it is $2,500. But for someone making 100k, it is $5,000. Mine was a only 3.5% =P

Around here we get 3% per year raise.
