I am getting a tattoo pretty soon here, and I was wondering, other than arms and tramp stamps, where could I get it where it wouldn't hurt as much? The tattoo that I'm getting is below:

Ok well i have wanted a tattoo for a long since i was about 10 I am 15 now and i would wait untill i am 16 to get a tattoo the only reason that i want this tattoo is because it is in memorial of a couple of family members that i never got to meet because they where brutaly killed in a plane bombing in 1988 three years before i was born.

Okay, so my boyfriend just proposed to me (I guess that makes him my fiance now). I want to get a tattoo for him. I don't want to get his name at all. I was thinking maybe each of our birth flowers intertwined on my foot, but does anyone have other ideas? He is 1/2Pacific Islander & 1/2 Irish (interesting combo I know!), so maybe something to do with his heritage? IDK, but Im up for suggestions that will hopefully get my brain ticking. Thanks!

Oh and I am not looking for your opinions on tattoos and how tacky they are and how you shouldn't get a tattoo for a boyfriend/girlfriend, so please don't tell me that cr*p.

I'm nearly 18, and i want to have a tattoo done after my birthday, but my mum has a massive problem with them. And i DONT want to lie to her about it, i want to tell her before i have it done, because its worse if i lie about it. Any tips??

I am wanting to get a tattoo done but I'm worried about how well a mostly brown and tan tat would look. It's going to be pretty big and on my upper arm. Do brown shades look ok or come out grainy? The few I have seen that have some brown in them look streaked and more black/grey than dark brown.

I already know my body has problems with holding some colors. White is a main one. I just had angel/devil duckie tats done on my wrists last Monday. The angel one of course had a lot of white and blue in it but the white has already faded a bit since peeling. It's almost none existant. When my tat guy did it he said he wasn't sure how well white would show on my skin tone but oh well. So is life.

Any of you have tats with a lot of brown in it? How has it held up for you?

I am getting a tattoo on my arm in a week now but i am getting tempted to bottle out . i really want it but i have a condition which happens when i see my own blood i kinda freak out and have been known to faint in the past . My boyfriends grandmother is about 56 years old and has about 6 tattoos all done in recent years. Shes not an old biker chick or an exprison mate, infact she couldnt be more of a grandma than she is now. She even works at a hospital partime. If people can respect her tattoos and all, why cant they respect younger people with tattoos?

I went to the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention yesterday and saw a lot of great art work, mostly watercolor paintings done by the tattoo artists there. Does anyone know of a site as to where I can find this type of art. I'm particularly interested in traditional tattoo art paintings/drawings.

The next tattoo or tattoos I want to get is a R on my left wrist and an A on my right wrist. I want to get them because my boyfriend has the same ones on the back of his arms. my girlfriend and i have been going out for 6 years now, and i'm pretty sure we're met for eachother. i'd like to get a tattoo to show her how much i care, but i don't know what to get.
