This is all up to you, just like when you go to dinner and have to choose a tip for your waitress.

I get a lot of tattoos, so if one day my tattoo costs a lot, I only tip a little, and when I come back for something small, I'll tip a lot, as much as I can.

If they do great work, they get a great tip. It just all depends. It's not required to tip but it is appreciated.

When he or she is done, look back at the procedure. If things were clean, professional and if the work turned out the way you wanted it, yes you should tip. Also try to remember that they did you a service and its polite to tip. Usually tips are around 15%, but if something wasn't done well or if something wasn't to your standards or if they went the extra mile for things, you should tip accordingly.

Just be sure you always give at least a little.

only if your getting your moneys worth. If the artist charges you $250 for a little butterfly then don't tip them. If he gives you a good deal then tip them.

You always need to tip. Remember, the artist only gets a certain percentage of the money you are paying. The other percentage goes to the shop for supplies, rent, ect......

TIPPING FEELS BETTER!!!

Oh geeze yes.
They'll usually have signs all around saying it's nice to tip.
It's usually a "**** you" or careless kind of thing to do if you don't tip your artist.
Plus if you want to go back and get tattooed by them, they won't be so enthused to have someone who won't appreciate what they're doing as much.

Tip for definite. I continuously pay round seventy five-one hundred additional dollars, however a minimal sitting for me almost always is composed of a 450-500 buck consultation. The base fee entails the artists "hire" for the spot within the save, presents, and many others, so the fee they provide you does not move wholly to the individual doing the tattoo. Pay your artist in coins too, they admire it. A lot. For round 350, you would in general throw another 30-50 dollars to them, allow your intestine do one of the vital speakme for your head too. I'm extra apt to tip anybody a larger quantity if they are pleasant, courteous, do a well activity, and many others... Same thought as in a restaurant.
