I recently got a monroe last Tuesday, and there is this little volcano thing on the outside of my lip. Its a little hill thats really red, and around the hole, its a nasty white. I clean it daily, but the redness and pus wont go away, and its very embarrasing! It hurts and its red and dry all with yellowish pus coming out....(sorry if I grossed anyone out) I went to the guy who did it, and he said it was normal, and just irritated. I dont wanna cover the red with makeup, but I need it to go away cuz I wanna enjoy my piercing, not hide it. Are my symptoms normal for over a week after having my monroe??

I got my navel pierced last week (I've had other body piercings, no problems)!

From the moment I got it done, through now it has been sore, the pain isn't as bad now. The skin in that area has been red (but no swelling or dryness) and my navel area has always turned red with touching or pinching.

I was told to constantly move and spray it with sea salt. Well everytime I move it, it bleeds a little. It doesn't look like any of the infected pics I've seen online, aside from the redness, but it is not dry or swollen. Now the upper part seems to be literally sinking in, tearing my skin.

From the start I wondered if she pierced too much skin...it feels like someone is pinching my navel.

I got it done at a reputable tattoo parlor and they did my other piercings. I am probably heading there tonight reguardless, but I just wanted to know if this is common...or if it sounds like a real problem.

I have my nape pierced all ready for about 5 months and i still get like a liquid or puss looking stuff out of it i am very good about taking very clean care of it. I gave it sea salt baths in thee first two months and now clean it with antibactiral soap twice a day, Is this normal and how long does the complete healing process take

When I was a kid I played a lot in the sun, like all the time. I got tanned but it normaly faded away, but after a few summers I was tanned "permanently" and it hadn't faded since. I continued to expouse myself to sun. Now I have like olive-brownish tan even during the winter.Is that possible for a caucuasian man?? I'm 18 now and I'd like my original skin color back. Will it ever come back???

I have a friend whose problem is eliminating dark skin (i.e. back of the neck, armpits, elbows, under the thighs, knees & buttocks) or lessening the dark spot (i.e. pimple or stretch marks caused by too much scratching during menstrual period) without going to the doctor for surgery or laser coz she wants to try a natural, unexpensive way of solutioning her problem. My friend is getting quite shy & embarrassed and was not able to wear sleeveless blouse or dress, not even a swimsuit becoz of this problem though she have a good figure. Please advise.
