Squats, butt lifts, lunges and ham string excercises work best for cellulite. Also, you can check out Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy. There are also new laser systems that work better for stretch marks...but that is a more difficult cure.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

Stretch marks besides the cosmetic aspect are totally harmless. They do not limit normal body functions.

Removal of stretch marks is the most effective when they are just formed, i.e. when they are reddish in color. Dermatologists recommend various treatments for the marks, but their removal is very difficult once the marks fade. Although, one can use Olive oils, Coconut butter or Vitamin E or Vitamin A for massaging over the marks. Aloe Vera Gel soothes irritating skin which has been recently stretched. For an effective prevention of stretch marks, exercising is the best bet, as it keeps the muscles and skin firm. Also eating foods, which are rich in proteins, Vitamin C and E help in promoting and maintaining healthy skin.

For stretch marks no cream works it only makes them smooth and for the cellulite try doing squats. Do 3 reps of 20 each everyday ur going to see the difference in a month.

Cocoa butter will moisturize the skin and may help the stretch marks appear less noticable. As for cellulite, I don't know of anything that will get rid of it except MAYBE treatments at the doctor. There are lots of miracle creams out there but I wouldn't waste my money on them unless I knew someone who had seen results from them. Good luck! If you find something that works for the cellulite pass it on!

I am so busy with my 5 kids (all under 8 years old!) and I hate exercising and dieting, life's too short! So I thought the only option for getting rid of my ugly cellulite was to book in with a set of weekly medical roller treatments. Job done.

However, they cost me a monstrous $3000 and, you guessed it, did absolutely nothing. I couldn't believe it. It left me thoroughly depressed.

I saw this info on the web and I gave it a go, what did I have to lose now! And, my god this is genius. Quick and easy. I feel so wonderful in my new, smooth, renewed figure! I am a yummy mummy now!

Cellulite Disappear?

I used StrivectinSD and it worked great. It didnt completely get rid of the marks, but it lightened them considerably. It is expensive ($140) but I found it to be soo worthwhile. As for cellulite, deep tissue massage works but it doesnt last long. I believe you have to go back every couple months. Using tanner can reduce the appearance of both.

Stretch marks - they fade with time but never disappear.
Cellulite - lots of exercise and rubbing and stimulation. Actually, they say sex is good for cellulite.

Unfortunately, you can't get rid of it, but you can try working out to tone your skin. Also, I've tried Loreal's slimming lotion, it didnt' really work miracles, but it gave me a boost of confidence.
