I have my nape pierced all ready for about 5 months and i still get like a liquid or puss looking stuff out of it i am very good about taking very clean care of it. I gave it sea salt baths in thee first two months and now clean it with antibactiral soap twice a day, Is this normal and how long does the complete healing process take

Well it sounds like your doing well at keeping it clean! You might try a different type of ring, like gold. Some times bodies can be fine with certain metals in some places, but not in others. I have both nips pierced, and my right one is always giving me trouble like that. I had to change it to a different type of metal for it to work right.

Nape piercings are actually a surface piercing, and can sometimes take a year (or more) to heal. It is perfectly normal to get a clear to whitish discharge from the piercing during the healing time, and even after it is healed expect the occasional discharge of sebum, a mixture of skin cells and skin oils. You should continue with the sea salt soaks for the whole healing time, as that is what promotes healing and will draw out the fluid. Make sure your solution is 0.9%, or 1/4 tsp per 8 oz of distilled water. And, unless the cleanliness is compromised, I would drop the soap cleanings to once a day, using a mild, broad-spectrum anti-microbial soap such as Provon or Satin.

Many napes never heal completely. Some discharge is normal, as long as it's not red (blood) or green (usually pus). Clear, white or yellowish discharge is fine.
Stop using the antibacterial soap, it can cause irritation which will slow the healing process. Just do the sea salt soaks once a day. Full healing will take at least a year.

Surface piercings, can take a while to heal fully (usually a yearish but everyones body is very different) but I would do a salt soak every week or so.
Usually some drainage during healing is normal. But it should be white or clear in color.
If you are concerned about this issue, I would call or visit the person who pierced you.

nape piercing doesnt harm. in any respect! i became to be extremely hassle-free crapping myself haha it became between the 1st ones i've got been given and that i became absolutey wonderful. i actually did no longer comprehend the needle became certainly by he pronounced im gona positioned the jewelry in now i became like oh? tht became fiddley yet soreness loose. ur ears will of been greater painfull id extremely had my nape carried out returned 10x then get my rook or my business returned lol. i've got been given it in oct and has been wonderful up til now.. it has started scabbing and kinda transforming into out now tho :( i absolute like it nevertheless definately extremely worth it and if i gotta take it out quickly which it appears that evidently sick would desire to, im only gona get it dnoe returned while its healed :) i cant analyze it to ear piercings or my dermal cos its different, yet i think of itl be the main painfree one uv had

As long as its not hurting, or spitting out green stuff. I would say your fine.
