im a teenager and i want a beauty routine as at the moment its splash my face with water, brush my teeth and put on some lip gloss. i need some things to start this up. i want to buy it from Avon as i know this is a website i can trust and all my mates have a very high opinion of it. the only problem is, theres so much to choose from! i want a toner, cleanser, exfoliator and tinted moisturiser with SPF.
which ones do u think i should get? i have skin that is dry in some places and very oily in others, not to many spots and a very shiny forehead and noes. i dont have too many blackheads and my skin isnt too sensative.
plz help me.

also if u could recomend anything else from this site (ie. make up, face masks, things for my hair) that would be great.

I think my boyfriend may be developing an eating disorder. At first he just exercised and ate healthy so he could be faster and better at tennis. For tennis, leaner, smaller people are generally better and he's 6'3" with a strong build. But now he's lost over 15 lbs. and his family thinks he's anorexic (they may just be joking.) I wouldn't be very worried but even his best friend asked if I had noticed that he seems to have gotten a lot thinner recently(last month or so.) I know he would never purposely develop a disorder because he hated it when I was anorexic but I really love him and would never want him to go through anything like that and I am worried. Should I be? Any ideas as to what I should do would be great.

Serious answers only, please.

I've been blessed with a great complexion, what they call here in the south a "peaches and cream" complexion. I get an occasional pimple and that's it. My skin has never been oily or dry, just normal. All I've ever had to use is a light moisturizer. All of a sudden my skin is SO dry. My cheeks and chin, upper arms, back and legs are extremely dry. I've tried moisturizer for extra dry skin, tried putting it on as soon as I get out of the shower to seal the moisture in. It's been pretty dry here lately, but we have a humidifier to help with that. I drink plenty of water. I am 42 years old and technically in perimenopause. Could this be a hormonal issues. Does anyone have any ideas, tips, suggestions etc...?

Has anyone ever had their navel piercing migrate or their body reject it? I had mine done 2 times and both times they migrated to the pint that it was like my body was rejecting it. (I waited enough time for the first one to heal after taking it out beofre I got it redone)

Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Also, should I take a chance & get it done again? Or, will the same thing happen?

My best guess is that the material I'm shoving into my ears is different. It's glass, and I've worn glass before, but not glass from Hottopic *where they're apparently inattentive enough to missmark sizes. it said 00ga, i thought i'd stretch. it lied, and i wound up with some pretty blue-swirled spirals in 0ga. on the bright side, i got to wear them without seaking out a taper and a place that'll sell a 17yr old lube at the mall* So, I wore them, took them out when I went to sleep, put them in this morning and took them out and noticed a "wrong" smell. I finnished stretching two years ago, and did it the right way, so I am well aquainted with my own ears' stench, but this smelled like, I don't know, sour or rotten. My ears look and feel fine, so does anyone know why the heck my ear-funk is smelling funky?

Same thing happened with cigerette smell on my hands a while back, I wonder if it's the same thing? I really hope not, cuz it smells nasty and that didn't go away.

I have these little bumps on my forehead. They aren't red, they are the same color as the rest of my face, but I'm really self-concious of them. I've tried SO many thing to get them to go away, but nothing has worked. I've tried proactive, a scrub twice a week and so on, but like I said, nothing has woked. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, what'd you do to get rid of them? Even if you haven't had this problem, but you think you might have a solution, PLEASE post it! Thanks!

I had my eye-brows threaded this weekend. Very good result, but it was painful. The therapist was very professional and quick, but it still hurt. She didn't know of any numbing options, so I'm wondering if the world could help me. I really want to go back there but I want it to be less painful next time. I'm thinking of an antiseptic skin wash (Band Aid has one for kids) - it has lidocaine in it. Shouldn't that help me (or do you have to have dry skin for threading)? Anything else besides alcohol or tylenol :)? Thanks
