My skin is exactly the same. My t-zone is so oily, but my cheeks are either fine or a little dry. This is what I do, and at the moment my skin is GREAT!
Wash twice a day with Yuva gentle foaming cleanser. It doesn't dry out your skin but it cleans deeply. You might need to use it twice.
Exfoliate three to four times a week with Dr Lewinn's Private Formula Facial Polishing Gel. YUM!!
Tone after I cleanse, with a water-based Aloe Vera toner. The aloe vera is for my sensitive skin, so you might want to try something a little stronger. Use it on a cotton ball and wipe it over your face, particularly the oily areas.
Moisturise with an oil-free, hydrating (NOT NOURISHING) moisturising fluid. Because a fluid is lighter, your skin will absorb it straight away. Use it sparingly around the oily areas, but still moisturise there! I know it sounds like it will just make things worse, but you can have oily skin that is still dehydrated.
Try not to wear makeup every day. If you can have two or three days a week completely without makeup, that would be great.
Ooh, and an oil-control mask, like a clay one, once or twice a week, will work wonders. Only on the oily parts, though, and not near your eyes!
I hope this works as well for you as it did for me! Good luck!

Their is no real solution to stop the oiliness but at least here are some tips to have your tzone in control- I have the same problem I feel your pain.
I wash my face with a liquid cleanser (any brand will do) twice a day in the am and pm before I go to bed. Avoid any brand that states "cream" cleansers - they still have oil in them.
Next an anstrigent to clean out any additional dirt and oil. Then sunblock moisturizer that is at least 15 SPF (oil free is better I like Dermalogica). Wait a few minutes then apply make up or dont wear any.
All through out the day (you dont have to guard it so much) blot your tzone with blotting papers (cheaper and effective are toilet seat cover papers - of course you get new clean ones), I cut them in small pieces and you got yourself blotting papers.
Once a week apply clay mask on your face to minimize oil production on the Tzone - Elizabeth Arden has a clay mask especially for the Tzone prone client ask their rep and she will be happy to show you which one I am refering too (I cant remeber the whole product name sorry).
**IMPORTANT: Avoid touching your face with bare hands. Bare hands are dirty and almost impossible to get them cleaned even if you wash them, you dont want additional bacteria and oils in your face. .Always use tissue or blotting papers if you need to touch your face**
Hope my tips helped.

Please do NOT use alcohol on your skin. If you have oily skin, you need to get onto a proper skincare regimen. Don't mix different product lines - they are not made to work together. You have what is known as the "T" zone. You are best to use a cleanser for normal to oily skin. This will help to keep the oil down, but don't forget to use a moisturizer. Even with oily skin, your skin still needs moisture to keep it balanced. Then you can use a toner for blemish areas only. Mary Kay has awesome products for these type of skin issues (I have what you have) and they work very well. If you are in Canada, please check out www.marykay.ca/dgoldrick, if not, go to marykay.com website and find a beauty consultant in your area that can help you with your specific questions. Hope this helps you...

Try a better skincare line. Go to a medical spa or quality spa that offers skin care and start using it. True Cosmetics has an amazing skin care line and mineral makeup that won't clog your pores and will keep your skin healthy. Part of the problem with drug store skin care lines are they actually increase oil production and make the problem worse which keeps you buying them. Change to something that is good for your skin!

Pick up a bottle of witch hazel (next to the rubbing alcohol and peroxide) and use it on the affected areas once or twice a day. Its a natural but gentle toner. It should help cut down the oil, but not dry out your skin too much.

For day to day oiliness, get blotting sheets, Johnson's makes a really good kind, they're blue.
For cleansing, try Dermalogica's Dermal Clay Cleanser followed by Active Moist.
