It hurts as much as you expect it to hurt, but the wax is normally warming which helps soothe your skin, and a good waxer will apply lotion afterwards to sooth any irritation. Try and find a hair removalist with a good sense of humour, it helps take your mind off it, and you can laugh about it later.

It hurts for the 7 minutes that it takes to do it. Make sure that you go to an esthetician that uses hard wax. That means no strips. The strip wax is not as effective in the bikini area and makes the process longer and more painful. Also, pop a couple motrin about 30 mins before you go. It takes the edge off. good luck.

Alot more than laser hair removal of the same area. Apogee Elite has a cooling system and reputable spas will likely also use a numbing cream prior to the laser. It's fast and permanent, although it would likely take about 4-6 treatments to become permanent. But that's 4-6 in your lifetime then NO MORE HAIR. It's ideal for women who are sure they always want the Brazilian look!

Hi :-) Well it hurts at the first time but after a while you well get used to and you want feel any pain. It’s worth the pain because later you don’t have to worry about shaving for a long time. I started using epilator instead waxing and I like it a lot.

There's a whole video of how much Brazilian waxes hurt on YouTube. Lidocaine spray before and after helps a LOT.

If you've never sworn in your life, this procedure will MAKE you swear! The little dots of blood comfirm the pain. Watch "40 Year Old Virgin" and you will get a glimpse of what it's like.
