im a teenager and i want a beauty routine as at the moment its splash my face with water, brush my teeth and put on some lip gloss. i need some things to start this up. i want to buy it from Avon as i know this is a website i can trust and all my mates have a very high opinion of it. the only problem is, theres so much to choose from! i want a toner, cleanser, exfoliator and tinted moisturiser with SPF.
which ones do u think i should get? i have skin that is dry in some places and very oily in others, not to many spots and a very shiny forehead and noes. i dont have too many blackheads and my skin isnt too sensative.
plz help me.

also if u could recomend anything else from this site (ie. make up, face masks, things for my hair) that would be great.

Good for you for wanting to take care of your skin early on! but no need to use all that harsh stuff if you're skin is looking good. I used to use it all and was always breaking out. I stopped one day and just use a mild face wash, and an SPF15 lotion, and my skin feels and looks much better. I'd definitely recommend getting in the habit of putting on a lotion with SPF in it EVERY day. It's so important.

Try asking your friends what they use, maybe they can give you some ideas? Its best to keep it simple i find. A nice exfoliating facewash and some moisturiser to use twice daily and a spot treatment stick for emergencies should be enough to get you started. Avon do a teenage type skin care range, i forget what its called but its in blue and white packaging i think. Also try the Nivea Visage Young range. Their products are gorgeous, and not too astringent, so they won't dry out your dry skin, but still cleanse the rest nicely. They also do a nice tinted moisturiser. Have fun!

P.s drinking plenty of water will do more for your skin than all the face creams in the world! :) x

i would use no7 cleanser, toner and moisturiser. you should probably get the green one as this is for combination skin which is what it sounds like you have. they are about £6.00 per bottle but should last quite a long time as don't need to use alot. they probably will have an exfoiliator once a week or 3 times a week. you can get no7 from any boots store - personally i would recomend no7. this should only take a few mins morning and night.

Sounds like you have combination skin so choose something that is suitable for this skin type, I think Avon do a range specifically for teenagers might be best if you go for this range.

Well done for looking after your skin.

When I was your age I used Noxzema. I couldn't afford the fancy or expensive cleansers. I’m not sure if the sell it in Europe but many of my younger cousins still use today and their skin is almost as flawless.
