Skin & Body - October 2007

I get flaky blemishes and white heads and few black heads frequently throughout the month especially around my menstraul.

What is the best way to get rid of these problems?

I also, get bags under my eyes a lot.

Help!

My face is usally clear most of the time but I hate it so much when this happens cause even makeup does not cover up the flaking.

I live in Mississippi and was just wondering how old do I have to be to get a tattoo. I hear that it's different in different states, that's why I'm telling you where I live. I'm seventeen right now. My mom says you have to be eighteen but my cousin says that you can be sixteen but you have to have your parent(s) say that it's okay.

Just answer that question, no need to say that you think i'm too young or that I need to think it over or whatever.

I would be worried about:

1. My HEALTH
2. My sexual functionalities because you sure are not going to be getting as much action when you're 80+ yrs old

I hate how people think their saggy skin is going to be attractive to anyone when they're 80 regardless if you have a tattoo or not. You're going to get looked at like you're senile regardless and when i look at old people with tats i think that person must of had an interesting life. Because when you are brave enough to get one doesn't it represent something!?!?

i'm getting another tattoo and i'm looking for a two word quote because i'm putting it on the back of my right and left ankle. i'm looking for something original. and i was also thinking about maybe getting it in Italian. an example would be, "Avere Fede" which means "have faith" but i'm not quite sure i want to get that.

I have had both of my tragus' pierced. The tenderness and swelling didn't last longer than a day. However...I just got my anti-tragus pierced and its still sore. It's a little red. Swelling is almost nothing but noticable if you look closely. Is this normal? How long will this last? I have had it for 4 days now...

I got my ear pierced like were my cartilage is on the top of my ear, and iam scared if its infected or not.

When it is infected? does it turn blue? or somthing?

Its been hurting a ton since i got it pierced about a week ago. I have been using the stuff they give you to clean it, every night.

My skin used to be perfect and flawless like two months ago and now it is seemingly a disaster. I'm 16 and I'm pretty developed as in like boobs, hips, etc. but I'm almost done growing and I thought the extent of my puberty was over. Now my skin is oily all the time and I have way more pimples. I wash it twice a day with like basic neutrogena oil-free cleanser and use an astringent but its not getting better and I don't know why it got worse. Could it have been the changing of the seasons?
