I got my ear pierced like were my cartilage is on the top of my ear, and iam scared if its infected or not.
When it is infected? does it turn blue? or somthing?
Its been hurting a ton since i got it pierced about a week ago. I have been using the stuff they give you to clean it, every night.

cartilage will hurt - espcially if you got it pierced with a gun. if it's hot to the touch it's generally not a good sign, as long as you're keeping it clean, not playing with the jewellery etc it should be ok - if not, first go to your piercer (if you got it pierced by a professional, i don't imagine claires will be much help) then a doctor

Some swelling is expected. If u dun feel like its healing much and if it's like u said hurting a ton since it was pierced A WEEK AGO then perhaps u have to see a doctor to be on the safe side.

it bleeds alot ... and goes a funny colour (normally green and yellow)

when it hurts, bleed and will not get any better..
