I have had both of my tragus' pierced. The tenderness and swelling didn't last longer than a day. However...I just got my anti-tragus pierced and its still sore. It's a little red. Swelling is almost nothing but noticable if you look closely. Is this normal? How long will this last? I have had it for 4 days now...

it can take longer to heal - potentially up to 6 months to heal fully, and maybe a week or two to stop being sore. just make sure you keep it clean (follow your piercer's instructions; salt-water's good) and as long as it doesn't get hot and infected, it should be fine

The reason it is so different than your first one is because it is much harder tissue than your tragus. The soreness will probably last for a pretty long time...it is similar to having your cartilige pierced, and lots of people have soreness with that for 6 months to a year. Keep it clean and try not to irritate it and tough it out :)

i myself love the two yet I form of like the comfortable extra. If it become me getting them i'd get a cushty on one ear and an anti-tragus on the different. I say whichever you like extra get. it is going to in all probability be lovable whichever one you get nonetheless.
