First of all, for people with a lip ring, how bad does it hurt on a scale of 1-10? And once you get a lip ring and leave it in long enough, can you take it out like you can with pierced ears?

Second, I've heard stories about how bad tattoos hurt. How bad does it hurt? Is it worth it?

I'm not getting either anytime soon... but I'm strongly considering it for when get older.

Ok when I shave my inner thighs....I don't know if it's because the skin isn't as 'thick' as on the rest of the leg or if it's flabby...but I just get the worst irritation there....knots where hairs have become ingrown. I might can pick the hair out with a pair of tweezers...but it doesn't make the knot go away or anything. What can I do so that this irritation goes away? It's a sight embarassing when I'm wearing shorts or a bathing suit.

I have long blonde hair, blue eyes... sure I wear some preppy clothes but people used to call me "emo".. so I'm basically the least girly in my "group".. I wear really dark eyeliner and I'm pretty much the only one of my friends who would wear a studded belt or more than one thing black to school. But I'm definately nowhere even close to being goth. I've had my eyebrow piercing for 3 years now. Initially it migrated slightly but other than that i had no real problems. I would say for about a year on and off i have nothing but problems. I developed a red bump to the left of the top hole, and despite saline soaks and compresses, this bump keeps coming back. Right now i cannot get the bump to go away. Can i take out the piercing while the bump is there? Can anyone offer some good advice? i'm desperate here...

I am 32 years old. I get my occasional pimple on my face, but it seems my jawline and neck are always getting them. I have tried proactive, benziol peroxide cream, panoxyl bar wash. Nothing seems to be working.

We have tried numerous ways, hair removal cream and using Nads Waxing kit. But we have been unsuccessful. The waxing gets the best results, but there are still trouble hairs that will not come out for anything no matter what we try. The hair STILL remains and it grows back within a week or so, even though it states it lasts around 4 weeks.

Furthermore, she does NOT wish to go to a beauty salon as she is very uncomfortable with the idea. Also, we do not have lots of money to spend on expensive treatments such as lasers or anything like that.

So what do you guys recommend?

In the actual tattoo, the firework won't be there, and her arm will be down at her side. Also, all of her shoes will be present. Now I need to decide on the background that will go around her, and the whole way around my arm, but I have no idea what it should be. My husband suggested movie posters done faintly in black and white, but I'm not sure that would look right. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)
