Tell your mom what you just told us. Say mom , I am starting to take care of my body and noticed that I sweat alot and it doesn't smell good and you would like to use a deoderant. I am sure she will talk to you about it..

You need an antiperspirant. A deodorant just covers up smell. An antiperspirant actually stops the sweat glands from sweating, for a while. If you have a lot of sweat (and you might be overstating the problem because you're embarrassed by it), more than normal, you should discuss it with your doctor.

That's disgusting. I started wearing deodarent when i was 10. U should tell her that you think that you are hitting puberty, and that you need to start caring for your body good. Try Teen Spirit Stick Shower Fresh, it smells dielicious!

Well, if Mom gets herself deodorant, tell her, "Look, Mom. My body is starting to go thru some changes and I need some things. Can we start with deodorant? I don't like smelling like a locker room."
I highly suggest the Secret Platinum clear gel. The tropical or peach or pear smell really nice and work really really well.

it shouldnt be that difficult. I think your over thinking it, your making seem like its going to be ambarrassing and stuff, well its just your mom so relax and whenever you think of it and shes around ask. you can just walk up to her at home one day and be like mom i need deordant, because i have been sweating, or when your at the store be like oh mom i need this because ive been sweating. She will understand and you shouldnt be thinking how your going to ask (its not a big deal) just ask :] holped i helped

yea.. just tell her.. everyone's body develops differently so she probably thinks you haven't hit that stage yet.. but if you're starting to sweat and stink... get some deodorant.. make sure you buy solids... gels do not last long and sometimes if you dont use it right.. you get big chunks of the dry deodorant behind your armpits

Well, it wasnt too long ago when Maiya (daughter) was your age. She was so nervous to ask me, just say well mom, I get to sweating during P.E. and I start to stink and get sticky and I like smelling good becaus eI don't want kids to make fun of me. So will you please buy me some deoderant, it doesn't have to be branded either. GOOD LUCK!

Send her an e-mail
just ask her the next time you are at walgreens or target and are walking past that section (trust me-I was nervous about asking her about it too, but it wasn't so bad. Seriously)
