If it is truly infected, don't take it out or the infection will have nowhere to drain. People tend to make that mistake. I'm not sure what you mean by saline soaks, but sea salt mixed with distilled water can usually draw it out. I had the same problem reoccuring with a nostril peircing, and it turned out I was allergic to nickel. (sp?) My best advice is to go to a tattoo parlor that peirces (the same place you had it done, if possible). They'll be able to look at it and tell you what needs to be done.

I use something called Blue Power. You can Google it and see the actual formula. I use it on my dogs all the time and it works great. 1- 16 oz bottle clear alcohol 16 drops of Gentian Violet 4 tablespoons of Boric acid powder You can get all the ingredients at Wal-Mart for less than $10.00 I mix all my stuff up in a sports drink squirt bottle. shake it up well and squirt some in the ear canal, hold and massage the ear for 15-20 seconds. Wipe out any crud or build up with a paper napkin. Do the same for the other ear. NOTE: Gentian Violet is a strong staining agent, best to do this outside while wearing old clothes. It will stain almost anything. Also Do not use this if your dog has a ruptured eardrum. My dogs swim quite a lot and we use it every time after they are out. When treating problem ears you may need to treat 2 times a day. Once they are better once a week or less will work.

the same thing happened to me with my navel piercing...in total, i had my navel pierced 4x, & it was never good...for some reason, my body always rejects this piercing, tho i have others on my body that i haven`t had any problems with whatsoever...probably u should just take it out...maybe u can choose another spot to get pierced, because one problem doesn`t necessarily mean u will have problems with another body piercing...good luck!!!

It might be that you need to change the jewelry. Sometimes your body changes and decides its going to have a reaction to certain foods and products. Try to change the jewelry to gold or sterling silver...even titanium although its expensive. If it doesnt work than you might have to just cut your losses and take it out.
