*Giggle* Sorry sweetie, but I had to chuckle at your question. I believe you meant "coldsore", not "coleslaw".. Coleslaw is a type of salad, my dear.. *chuckle*.. now, to answer your question..
Don't eat any food that can irrate it, such as acidic foods, like lemons, oranges.. anything citric. They can be caused by lots of things.. lipstick, lipgloss, any irritating food (for me, personally, whenever I use Blistex I get them.. it's because of that reason I now call it "Blister").. you might have to just weed some things out to see what's causing them. The only thing I can suggest to get rid of the discomfort is get a medicated cream to put on it. Not only will it dry it out, but it'll ease the itching and discomfort. Make sure you don't share any drinks or food with anyone as it can be passed from one person or another that way. You just need a little patience for it to go away. It's unsightly, I know, but think of it this way.. everyone gets one sometime or another. You're not alone. Good luck!

I believe you mean "cold sores." Ask you local pharmacist for an over the counter remedies for "cold sores." You may want to see a doctor if it doesn't go away, unless you really do have coleslaw on your lip!!!

Oh! You mean Cold Sores? Well, there is an ointment you can get at the drug store. Go up and ask the pharmacist to show you where they keep it.

Well I am pretty sure you mean "cold sores" so I am going to recommend Abreva. It works great for me and shortens the length of time the cold sore is visible.
