I am 32 years old. I get my occasional pimple on my face, but it seems my jawline and neck are always getting them. I have tried proactive, benziol peroxide cream, panoxyl bar wash. Nothing seems to be working.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

It sounds like the make-up you are using is collecting at your jawline possibly when you clean your face. I had this problem. I began using BareEscentuals line of make-up called Bare Minerals. My skin immediately cleared up. It is made from minerals in the earth that actually have healing minerals rather than the oils and products. When you wear this, it doesn't put oil in your pores. When you wash it off, if it collects on your jawline, it won't produce acne. Hope you see a change!

When you take a shower cleanse your face in the shower morning and evening so cleaner cleanses under the chin area. Don't only cleanse but tone as well. toning closes the pores so no oil gets out to the surface which collects dirt and other buildup. Also exfoliate your entire face from head to neckline in the shower so not so messy. Exfoliating causes breakouts also FYI because of dead skin cells that get trapped in the pore and turns into a bacteria and when not exfliated or cleansed well pimples are born.

The first answer has a good point - regularly clean your cell phone & land line phone.

Acne along the jawline & neck is usually due to hormonal fluctuations so you may need to see your doctor for a blood test.

Since benzoyl peroxide products aren't working, consider trying products w/ salicylic acid until your can see your doctor or consult a dermatologist.

I am also 32 and have the same problem... found out after countless dollars spent.. it was my CELL PHONE! Once my dermatologist told me that I needed to clean my phone with anti-bacterial wipes every day.. my face cleared right up! If I skip a few days.... they come right back!

Don't hurt to try it!

stop touching your face. if you constrantly wrest you face on your hand it will cause certain spots to get acne in the same place repeatedly.
