You can exfoliate (use a loofah or product with exfoliating beads in it) to slough off skin cells quicker. Also, use a high SPF sunblock when you go out.

P.S.- Bath and Body Works has a product, I'm in the Mood for Scrub, that will exfoliate as well as moisturize. Double this up with a good gauze sponge. It will work wonders and leave your skin glowing at the same time!

you can stay inside or This recipe is good in removing the tan from the face due to prolonged exposure to sunlight.

What you need:
Egg white
Honey
Bowl

Procedure:
In a large bowl mix together the egg white and the honey. Continue to stir until it becomes sticky and thick. Apply to the damaged face for 5 minutes. And wash face thoroughly with a mild facial soap. Sometimes it would be advisable to wash face with lukewarm water alone to avoid skin complications of sun-burned damaged skin.

Get some sunblock with at least 30 sunblock or 45 and the tan will go away by itself in about a month but it will look better in a week. You just got too much.
